- Log in with username and password.
- Select Settings.
- Select Catalog.
- Select Configuration.
- Locate Commission.
- Select Commissionable Parameter.
Tip: Gross Sales is the best practice.
- Enter Amount.
Tip: A 10% commission is the best practice.
- Add Line Item Cap.
Note: We do not recommend this.
- Select Include Labor.
Tip: Our most successful dealers pay commission on the labor for selling installation.
- Locate Commission Splits.
- Enter Accessories Manager %.
- Enter Salesperson %.
- Locate Profit Splits.
Note: Splitting the profit allows the cost of paying the commissions to be divided.
Tip: The best practice is for each department to share the accessory sales profits equally and contribute to the commissions equally.
- Enter Installed % for Sales, Parts, and Service.
- Enter Uninstalled % for Sales and Parts.
- Don’t forget to save your changes.
