Commission

The Best Practice is to pay commissions to your sales team on every accessory.

  • Log in with username and password.
  • Select Settings.
  • Select Catalog.
  • Select Configuration.
  • Locate Commission.
  • Select Commissionable Parameter.

Tip:  Gross Sales is the best practice.

  • Enter Amount.

Tip:  A 10% commission is the best practice.

  • Add Line Item Cap.

Note: We do not recommend this.

  • Select Include Labor.

Tip: Our most successful dealers pay commission on the labor for selling installation.

  • Locate Commission Splits.
  • Enter Accessories Manager %.
  • Enter Salesperson %.

  • Locate Profit Splits.

Note: Splitting the profit allows the cost of paying the commissions to be divided.

Tip: The best practice is for each department to share the accessory sales profits equally and contribute to the commissions equally. 

  • Enter Installed % for Sales, Parts, and Service.
  • Enter Uninstalled % for Sales and Parts.
