AccessorySync - Creating New Users

Each dealership employee helping to manage pricing and configuration of your accessory data should have a login.

To access the system, employees need to have a valid username and password. The level of access each dealership user has is determined by the role assigned to them in the Roles and Permissions settings.

  • Select Settings.
  • Select Users.

  • Select New User.

  • Enter Contact Details.
    Tip: Required fields are indicated by the asterisk.

  • Enter Username.
    Tip: Use the email address as an employee’s username.
  • Enter Password.
    Tip: Employees may change their password once they log in through My Profile.
    Note: Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive.
  • Select a User Role.

NOTE: For AccessorySync product users, there is rarely a need for any user level other than Administrator. 

 

  • Follow the same steps for each employee you wish to provide access to your AccessorySync configuration toolset.

 

  • If an employee leaves the dealership, delete or disable their access using the user list. 
    Note: The lock disables the user while the trashcan deletes them.

  • Verify that you want to delete the user.
